DeNEF Nikon D1 NEF image file decoder

There's a whole slew of reasons why I decided to write this utility, I'm sure I'll sit down and enumerate them someday. For now, i'll just say that I found it interesting and a challenge, and I like to give back to the community that I've been able to take so very much from.

Franz Bakan has kindly provided a pre-compiled version of denef for OS/2. It's available as a zip file here.

DeNEF is written in C++, and has a lot of development left to do. 8-)

Tested Platforms

DeNEF is known to compile and run on at least the following platforms:

• RedHat Linux 6.2 & 7.0 on Intel hardware (PIII/733) (verified for 0.3)
• LinuxPPC 2000 on an Apple G4 (verified for 0.2)
• Solaris 8 on sun Ultra 60 [w/ GCC 2.95.2] [Aparently w/ some minor hacking around] (verified for 0.2)
