Pleasant images to fill your screen

	Flock (B/W) I caught this flock of birds while hanging around at the end of Pier 39 in San Francisco.. The original picture wasn't all that interesting but with a little work this somewhat minimalist background emerged. I find it looks good on laptops.

Ivy Wall (B/W) Nature just likes to hang onto stuff and grow.. I've always found ivy somewhat cool to look at, and this makes an interesting background.

	New Saturn Little did I know when I took the previous car picture that I'd end up getting a new one about a week later, and since I'm sure you're all terribly excited to know what it looks like, here it is.. (It's a 1999 Saturn SC2)

My [Old] Car I happened to take a picture of my car while I was out the other day, and after some fiddling around with The Gimp, I came up with this which looks pretty good on my background, so I figured i'd share. (It's a 1995 Saturn SL2)

	Bay Area Relief Having run across the USGS web page full of digitial elevation data, I just HAD to find a use for it, here's a test image from the rendering program I've been constructing. Each color change corresponds to a height increment of 100 meters.

	The leaf While cleaning my balcony/patio of dried leaves, I decided to scan some and see how they turned out

Overlayed leaves A derivation from the basic leaf background.. I scanned another leaf at the scanner's full resolution, and expanded it to fit as a background and placed the leaf on top of that. (The graphic work is all done in the Gimp).
